The Decorator

Sandie has been custom decorating cakes for over 15 years.

Sandie's love of cake design and production is basically an extension of her visual arts training. Her artistic abilities result in very innovative designs, executed on cakes that people express delight in.

She took a couple of courses in cake decorating at night school, then went on from there, developing methods of her own for decorating cakes. The most prominant of these is painting with food colour on sugarpaste. Her work is very detailed, as she treats her fondant as a canvas. The cakes themselves are moist and delicious, using only the freshest of ingredients.

Over the years, Sandie's skills have been the delight of many customers, both young and old.

As a designer, Sandie loves to help those who are unsure of what they want.....to aid them in "brainstorming" and access that hilarious idea for a birthday or shower cake, or think up those dreams of a beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding or anniversary cake!
